Our story
Jobboard started in 2024 with a simple frustration: every modern job board had become a slot machine of spammy listings, recruiter middlemen, and ghosting. Hiring teams were drowning in irrelevant applications. Candidates were sending CVs into a void. Both sides were losing — and the platforms were profiting from the chaos.
We spent the first year talking to hundreds of engineers, designers, and hiring managers across remote-first companies. The pattern was clear: people don’t need more listings — they need fewer, better ones. They don’t want a black box — they want to know exactly where their application stands. They don’t want recruiters in the middle — they want a direct line to the team.
So we built the opposite of what the industry shipped. Every listing is reviewed by a human before going live. Every applicant sees the same predictable pipeline — Applied → Test → Interview → Offer — with real-time status updates. Every hiring team gets a focused inbox of candidates who actually read the job description.
Today Jobboard is used by thousands of remote-first teams across 40+ countries. We’re still independent, still small, and still building the product we’d want to use ourselves.

I built JobRemotely because I was tired of LinkedIn noise — recruiter spam, ghost jobs, scam listings. Every job here is reviewed by me personally before it appears.
