the company MFA is a multi-factor authentication platform used by hundreds of customers around the world to protect employee logins to networks, servers, and applications. We build cloud-based authentication services, APIs, and cybersecurity integrations for enterprise environments.
We are looking for a Regular or Senior PHP Laravel Developer who wants to work long-term on scalable, secure, cloud-based software in the cybersecurity space.
What You’ll Work On
You will help develop the core components of the company MFA and related enterprise authentication services.
Your work will focus on building and improving cloud-based cybersecurity and authentication technology, including:
Scalable backend services for MFA, SSO, and enterprise user authentication
Secure APIs used by the company products, customers, and integrations
SAML, OpenID Connect, and identity-related services
Integrations with enterprise identity and cloud security platforms such as Microsoft Entra ID
Integrations with cybersecurity tools and services such as Microsoft Sentinel, Google SecOps, SIEM, IGA, and IAM systems
Frontend components in Angular where needed, with the main focus remaining on backend development
CI/CD pipelines and automation that support secure, maintainable software delivery
AI-assisted development workflows that improve productivity, code quality, security reviews, and engineering effectiveness
This is a backend-focused full-stack role. You will work primarily on backend systems and APIs, with frontend development in Angular where needed.
How You’ll Work
Location: 100% remote or from our office in Kraków or Zielona Góra, Poland
Technology stack: PHP 8.3, Laravel 12, Angular, Docker, GitHub, AWS, SAML, OpenID Connect, LDAP, Microsoft Entra ID, cloud IAM, CI/CD, AI-assisted development tools

What You’ll Do
As a PHP Laravel Developer at the company, you will:
Develop and maintain core cloud platform components of the company MFA
Build secure, scalable APIs for enterprise authentication services
Develop and extend SSO, MFA, SAML, and OpenID Connect services
Integrate the company MFA with enterprise identity platforms such as Microsoft Entra ID
Build integrations with cybersecurity tools and services such as Microsoft Sentinel, Google SecOps, SIEM, IGA, and IAM systems
Work with modern application architecture patterns for scalable cloud systems
Contribute to frontend development using Angular where needed
Design secure software with attention to authentication, authorization, session handling, data protection, and application security
Use AI tools securely and effectively to accelerate development, improve code reviews, detect potential issues, and increase the quality of your work
Build or use AI agents and AI-assisted workflows that enhance your engineering performance and software quality
Implement automated tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub and related DevOps tools
Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, technical planning, and secure coding practices
Work closely with product managers, engineers, and cybersecurity specialists to deliver enterprise-grade authentication solutions
Skills You Have
At least 3 years of commercial experience developing PHP software with Laravel
Practical experience building secure APIs and backend services
Good understanding of cloud software architecture
Experience building scalable cloud-based applications, preferably on AWS
Knowledge of secure software development and application security principles
Understanding of cybersecurity concepts, especially related to authentication, identity, and access management
Knowledge of authentication and identity protocols such as SAML, OpenID Connect, LDAP, SSO, and MFA
Experience with frontend development, preferably Angular
Working knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD concepts
Ability to use AI coding tools securely and effectively as part of everyday software development
Ability to use or build AI agents, AI-assisted workflows, or automation that improves development speed, code quality, code review, testing, and security analysis
Interest in cybersecurity, secure software design, and enterprise authentication systems
Ability to analyze technical problems independently and propose robust engineering solutions
