Senior Backend Developer (C# or Node.js)

Senior Backend Engineer (C#/ Node.js) -  IoT Projects

We are looking for an experienced Backend Developer to join a team building modern IoT platform solutions and scalable backend services. The role focuses on developing API and middleware layers used by mobile, web, and internal systems within a distributed cloud-based environment.

Additional information

• Work mode: Hybrid (Wrocław) or fully remote
• Rate: 110 - 140 PLN/h

Responsibilities

• Design and develop backend applications and middleware components for scalable IoT solutions.
• Build and maintain REST APIs, WebSocket communication, and asynchronous integrations.
• Create and optimize data models using relational and NoSQL databases.
• Cooperate on cloud deployments, CI/CD processes, and infrastructure automation.
• Ensure high software quality through TDD, unit testing, and integration testing.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

Requirements

• Strong commercial experience with either C#/.NET 6 or Node.js with TypeScript.
• Very good understanding of microservices architecture, REST standards, and event-driven systems.
• Hands-on experience with message brokers such as RabbitMQ or Azure Service Bus.
• Practical knowledge of relational databases (SQL Server/PostgreSQL) and NoSQL solutions (MongoDB, Redis, Cosmos DB).
• Familiarity with cloud and containerized environments, including Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, or Linux-based systems.
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and modern deployment practices.
• Good communication skills and fluent English.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Git workflows and version control best practices.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools in cloud environments.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
