Senior Software Engineer (Python+JavaScript)

We also have 1st line support consultants who speak French and English, but also Italian, Spanish, Portuguese and German.

The Application Services department is responsible for areas such as software development, data engineering, testing services, CRM, ITSM and ERP platform integrations, as well as application management for customers in Scandinavia, Benelux, France, Germany, Switzerland and the UK.

Job Description

We are looking for Senior Software Engineer (Python + JavaScript) to join the company Polska a team that works for a client in the aerospace sector.  You will work in an industrial, stable environment in multinational team (France, Poland, India) for a major aeronautical manufacturer. The program involves wide portfolio of applications developed by multiple teams in modern technologies, that e.g., support pilots, crew, and airline in planning the flights or various airport operations. 

Note that we can only offer cooperation to people who are located in Poland and are willing to commute to our office in Gdańsk, Poland.

Responsibilities:​
• Implement solutions and deliver high quality software in aviation domain.
• Help to define requirements and implement software designs.
• Drive software quality and innovation with the ArcGIS framework.
• Shape and apply our software standards of clean. 

Tech stack on the project:​
• Python, ArcGIS, JavaScript, AWS, GitLab, GitLab-CI, Vue.js.

Qualifications

Must have requirements:​
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as Senior SE or similar role.
• Software Engineering experience with Python (ArcGIS) and JavaScript (Vue.js).
• Experience in Application Lifecycle Management tools (e.g.: JIRA) 
• Team player, problem-solver, and comfortable interacting with stakeholders.
• EU citizenship.
• Fluent English: B2/C1
• Being open to occasional business trips abroad and visits in our office in Gdańsk.

Nice to have requirements:
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process

The recruitment process for this position consists of three stages:
• a short phone call with a recruiter (30 min max)
• one-hour long interview on Teams (with both general and technical questions)

Salary range:
UOP: 12 000 -16 000 PLN gross/month; 
B2B: 100-140 PLN/h net + vat.
