Role
The Data Assets, Analytics & AI department at a leading global Consumer Health organization focuses on enabling digital transformation by creating best-in-class analytical solutions, supporting data-driven decision-making and performance optimization across the organization.
You will be part of the global Data Assets, Analytics & AI platform and will be responsible for technically guiding projects in the Data & Analytics domain. You will partner with business stakeholders, data scientists, analytics leads, data and platform architects, engineers, as well as implementation partners and vendors, acting as the technical lead for scalable Core Data Assets and Data Products.
You will ensure proper data management, data ingestion, pipeline orchestration, and the delivery of high-quality data for analytical consumption. Responsibilities
Own and lead the technical implementation and management of well-integrated, enriched, and reusable data models and analytics products,
Collect and manage data requirements from data consumers, translate them into technical concepts with a focus on reusability and cost efficiency, and collaborate with data providers,
Ensure best-practice data management and quality assurance processes are defined, applied, and continuously improved.
Collaborate with data architects, analytics leads, and data scientists to promote data reuse and ensure sustainable pipelines and analytical products,
Partner with global and regional business stakeholders as well as IT teams (data architecture, analytics, data science, platform product managers, integration architects) to ensure delivery aligned with business priorities and IT objectives,
Lead the integration of multiple data sources to develop globally harmonized data models and KPIs that meet market requirements,
Guide delivery teams (primarily data and BI engineers, internal and external), provide cost and timeline estimations, challenge assumptions, and ensure high-quality delivery, testing, and proper handover to support teams,
Contribute to best-practice knowledge sharing within the data architecture community and support the continuous improvement of the data analytics technology stack by providing feedback and project requirements.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field,
5+ years of experience in Data & Analytics, preferably within the CPG industry,
Strong expertise in data architecture and data engineering, particularly with Spark-based processing solutions
Tech stack: Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, SQL, Python (Snowflake is a plus),
Proficiency in data modeling techniques with the ability to mentor and support data engineers in best practices and implementation strategies,
Experience with reporting and visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI,
Solid understanding of data management practices (data cataloging, data quality management, data compliance).
Experience with the GitHub ecosystem, including version control, GitHub Actions (CI/CD), and pull request workflows. Knowledge of Azure DevOps is a plus,
Experience delivering data as a product and leading data engineering teams,
Knowledge of commercial domain data (e.g., CRM, eCommerce, Sell-Out),
Experience working with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban),
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills combined with sound business judgment,
Excellent interpersonal, consulting, communication, and presentation skills,
Fluent English (written and spoken), intercultural awareness (Europe, US, India), and willingness to travel occasionally.
